Everest Mera Foundation is seeking fundraising partners in this upcoming great Christmas Festival and New Year 2022.

The project aims to assist 50 orphan students from various Sherpa & Kulung families who have lost their parents while helping western mountaineers in climbing mountains including Everest. Interested individuals and organizations can raise funds in any social gatherings or through crowdfunding sites.

Our goal is to raise USD 5,000 which will be used for books, school supplies, tuition fees, school uniforms, and exams for 50 orphans for one year. Most of the orphan children raised by single mothers in the remote mountains.

In the past, the single moms managed the government school expenses of their orphan children by running tea shops along the Everest trail. In order to survive, some moms run a small farms in the villages of southern slopes of Mt. Everest. As a result of COVID-19, they can no longer pay their educational bills since their income has been disrupted.

Our young orphan students are our future, if they receive a solid educational foundation, they can make a better world for tomorrow.

In the remotest region of the country, the Everest Mera Foundation has already helped 1,452 students from poverty-stricken families in the past.

This initiative will run until April 1, 2022. The country’s national education year will begin on April 15th.
