Everest Mera Foundation, in collaboration with Mahakulung Rural Municipality and with financial support from New Futures Nepal UK, announces a Scholarship Program to help children who dropped out of school due to extreme poverty return to education.
This program targets orphaned and vulnerable children from Mahakulung Rural Municipality who were previously enrolled in local schools but had to leave and are currently working in the domestic, construction, or tourism sectors. Eligible students who have not received scholarships from other institutions may apply. Based on individual need assessments, selected students will receive scholarships ranging from NPR 5,000 to NPR 15,000, or school essentials of equivalent value, for the upcoming academic session only.
Interested students or their guardians must submit applications by the end of Magh (Mid-February), along with recommendation letters from the ward office, and the concerned school.
